Welcome, one of our favourite Australian models – Ali Woolley
First up, where are you while you are answering the Wallcandy Q&A?
I am currently on summer holidays in the South of France
How did you start modelling?
I started modelling when I was 18 after signing with my mother agency in Sydney. I was working in Sydney for about a year until I finished off my first year of studies. I really loved it so I decided to go full time and have been ever since 🙂
Which brand would you most like to model for, and what has been your career highlight so far?
I think at the top of my list would have to be a Chloe campaign. I would also love to work for Sir the Label and Reformation at some stage.
I have two favourite jobs so far! One was shooting for Sunday Somewhere in India and the other was for Shona joy in Paris last year with two of my good friends and favourite creatives Jess & Ally.
If you weren’t modelling, what job would we find Ali Woolley doing?
I’ve always had an interest and passion for natural health and wellness (which is what I’ve also been studying on the side while modelling) so I think I would probably be a Naturopath. I hope to one day maybe even open my own little clinic/sanctuary when the time is right 🙂
How would you define success? Do you think you’ve found it yet?
Success for me is definitely an inside job. I truly think that everything in our external world is a reflection of our internal world. It is all in the practice of being present, grateful and happy within ourselves that I believe true success and fulfilment emerges. It is definitely an ongoing process, and something that you have to work on everyday.
What is your favourite travel destination and why?
It would have to be the South of France. I love that you are so close to both the beach and countryside, the easy strolls through local farmers markets and taking fresh ocean swims in the crystal clear waters. It just has an amazing energy to it, especially in the summertime!
