Wallcandy was commissioned to produce the AW18 campaign for menswear retailer The Academy Brand. The Academy Brand marketing team were drawn the French Countryside project, the location speaking to the their audience through the regions rich heritage and cultural appeal. The Academy Brand is known for its foundational mix and match collections made from quality fabrications that showcase rich textures. Our brief was to capture the collection in a setting that brought these elements to life.
The campaign was shot over 2 x days at the 13th Century chateaux La Grange de Pommereuil. With traditional Norman era architecture, monochromatic Tudor era exteriors, and vast fields filled with hay bails and timber fencing, the property was the perfect backdrop for the Academy Brand campaign concept.
Wallcandy produced a series of iconic campaign stills, cinemagraphs and product videos to be used across print catalogues, digital platforms and social channels.
