There’s a buoyant and vibrant energy in the Cuban town of Trinidad, where colonial country charm meets 1950’s groove. The crumbling, time-worn city dances to a seductive beat as heat permeates from the sky, glowing on faces that could have stepped out of a Gauguin painting. Riding in the back of a classic 1950’s convertible, the vibe is laid-back, sweet, serene and impossible to resist. Pastel palettes of ochres blend invisibly into each other. A market stall holder unpacks bananas and green peppers, while a man sucks on a cigar as he orders suckling pig for his daughter’s birthday feast. Our team produced a series of campaign imagery and video content for Sunday Somewhere, encapsulating the understated beauty that can be found in the simplest things.
